TRIAL BEGINS FOR CAB DRIVER ACCUSED OF ATTEMPTED MURDER

Las Cruces—Trial is set to begin today for Darren Henry accused of the attempted murder of James Narvaez on February 23, 2013.

Henry was indicted by the grand jury on charges of Attempt to Commit First Degree Murder, Aggravated Battery (Deadly Weapon); Aggravated Assault Against a Household Member; Aggravated Assault and Tampering with Evidence.

If convicted Henry faces 18 years in prison.
